What are the favourable conditions for the synthesis of ammonia?
a) Low pressure and high temperature
b) High pressure and high temperature
c) High pressure and low temperature
d) Low pressure and low temperature
Using high pressure because we are going from !!4!! to !!2!! gas
molecules. So high pressure favour the forward reaction to give
fewer gas molecule, by Le Châtelier's principle.
Using low temperature because it ia an exothermic reaction
favoured by lowering the temperature.
